Trycket på pärmen föreställer ett mansporträtt och delar av en kompassros. På baksidan finns en berättelse om Christopher Columbus på engelska. "Christopher Columbus was born Italian in 1452. A foreigner in the superpowers of Spain and Portugal he still managed to convince Isabella and Ferdinand of Spain to support him in his efforts to find an alternative sea route to India. As we all know, it diden´t go according to plan. Instead he happened upon some islands in the Caribbean. And the confusion went on. The inhabitants e called indians. The land he famed for discovering was named America after Amerigo Vespuccis who actually discovered it, but is almost forgotten today. And Columbus himself was famed in the name of Columbia in South America - where he never set foot. Despite cance and confusion, more than anyone Columbus´name has become synonymous with discovert and resolution. A Columbus egg is a simple solution to a complex problem. But the ide of makinng an egg stand also proves a vital point: to always challenge conventional thinking. This applies to many different areas, for instance challenging the idea of a flat world - or nightclubbing where you may challenge conventional dancing to make an impression on the dance floor. at DFDS Seaways we have chosen to name our live-band nightclub after the great discoverer. After all anything can happen at a live performance - given half a chance. Then, all you need is luck!"
