Etikett: Smörgåsbord on board one of the Swedish American Line's beautiful cruise liners is a thrilling experience. One starts with fish such as herring, salmon, eel, shrimp, lobster and caviar, sipping aquavit and beer in between. Then to the meats, turkey, meat balls, ham, tongue, goose liver pate and other delicacies. Next comes the salads, and then a galaxy of sheese, Swedish "Västerbotten", Danish Blue, Norweigian Goat Cheese, Muenster, Edam and many others.
